October 2006 saw the band visit Marshall in Texas USA. 

As one of the Tour arrangers Tina met travellers when they arrived at the bandroom to board the coach to Gatwick Airport. After a long coach journey it was into the airport with all the luggage and instruments and to wait for boarding to Dallas Fort Worth Airport.52 players and supporters travelled from Mid Devon and after some 25 hours travelling arrived at Dallas Fort Worth airport. This wasn't the end of the journey as there was still 160 miles to go. It was then into a fleet of people carriers for the journey, finally arriving at the hotel after 30 hrs travelling.

   

 

The band at Ostot Park In Jefferson. A privately owned bandstand it was given to the band to play a concert at the request of the millionaire owners.    

The group travelled across the border into Louisiana to give two concerts in Shreveport

 A lunchtime concert at Shreveport University

 


On a visit to a casino in Louisiana this is probably as close as Tina will get to 1 Million Dollars
